As founder and CEO of Family Visions Outreach, Inc. Dr. Hall has had major
successes in the attempt to provide low and moderate income residents with
affordable, safe and sanitary housing. “Say No to the Row” was an effort in 2003
to condemn seventy-two dilapidated shotgun houses; many of which lacked indoor
bathrooms, adequate wiring and hot water. The campaign was able to organize the
community to petition the City of Sylvester which resulted in the houses being
condemned and in 2010 construction was complete for Paradise Estates
Apartments. Family Visions was awarded Tax Credit from the Department of
Community Affairs to construct 51 low-Income apartment units in Sylvester and
another complex was constructed in 2015 in Ashburn Georgia by the name of
Eureka Heights Apartments, it has 56 units.
Dr. Hall has a passion for helping God’s people and plans to continue working
with at-risk children and families through her nonprofit’s after-school program,
housing counseling program, and food pantry. Dr. Hall also continues her efforts to
help to eliminate hunger, homelessness, and sub-standard housing in her
community by partnering with businesses, churches, civic organizations, ordinary
donors, city, county, state, and federal governments.
